Originating from the massage practices of Dr Rosita Arvigo et al, Abdominal Therapy is a gentle external massage that helps guide organs back into proper position and enhances the systemic flow of blood, lymph and nerve impulses. Alleviating tissue congestion and organ constriction of the abdomen and sacrum, these techniques support the release of physical, emotional and energetic tension. Abdominal Therapy aids in the prevention and progression of many common digestive disorder and chronic disease while improving the body’s ability to self repair and balance.

Follow-up appointments are typically 90 minutes long & scheduled every 2-4 weeks.

Refer to Offerings to learn more about discounted package deals.

Initial sessions are scheduled for 2 hours and include:

  • A Comprehensive Intake where we will explore your health history story, and take time to create personal health goals & treatment plan right for you.

  • 60 Hands on Treatment primarily focused on the abdominal and lower back regions of the body, incorporating manual techniques Kat has learned from Dr Rosita Arvigo. Massaging these areas systematically optimizes the circulation of all the systems in your body. We call this NAVEL: Nerve, Arterial and Venous blood, Energy, and Lymph.

Throughout the entire massage you will be informed to what is happening and open dialogue will be apart of my intention to support you in feeling comfort and empowered.

  • Education for powerful self-massage and care between sessions. You’ll receive a handout for YAM (Your Abdominal Massage) and have valuable discussion about additional self-care guidelines.
