Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine

Haley DeMarco is a treasured resource in the Bellingham community. As part of the Bellingham Birth Collective, she focuses her attention to menstrual health, fertility & pregnancy support, pain management, and emotional health. Acupuncture can be a powerful companion to massage therapy, effecting the nerves, blood flow, meridians systems in a deep and balancing way.

Community Apothecary

This is my go-to for all my herbs, oils, teas, and questions about medicinal plants! Michelle Sangler, owner/herbalist/flower essence practitioner, is a wealth of knowledge and has helped me many times in personal need of solving imbalances in my body. Check out their site (or better yet, go to the store front!) to upgrade your spices, teas, and find a workshop with local herbal heroes.

Somatic & Nutritional Therapy

Demi Fair is an absolute gem in the realm of gut health, nervous system regulation, nutritional therapy and walking a strong feminine path in this world. Her Podcast alone, Trust your Gut, is so helpful in unlocking many misnomers and linking traumas to digestion imbalances, as well as providing helpful suggestions for everyday nervous system regulation. Demi is a certified Functional Nutritional Therapy and Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and offers a healing program “Gut- Brain Healing Toolkit” that I highly recommend for a deep dive!

Physical Therapy

Connect NW is located just down the sidewalk from my Fairhaven studio and is a pelvic health and orthopedic specialty clinic. Although I personally have not received their hands on touch, many of my postpartum clients have spoken highly of their work and the benefits receiving massage and PT sessions as part of their healing plan.

Pregnacy, Birth & Parenthood Networking

Doulas, lactation consultants, birth centers, etc, the Bellingham Birth Collective is an amazing web of connections for growing families. Their mission is to “create a supportive network of healthcare workers, coaches, and other resources for pregnant and postpartum people, families, and children in Bellingham WA.” As part of the BBC myself, I highly recommend coming to the Bellingham Birth Fair, typically hosted mid April.
